Description

Join Charlotte Lit for the next installment in our new Poetry Nightclub series on March 30 at Starlight on 22nd.

Charlotte Lit’s Poetry Nightclub is new way to engage with the world’s oldest form of storytelling. Each quarter, Charlotte Lit will host a critically acclaimed poet for an evening performance that goes beyond traditional reading and book signing events.

Picture soft lighting, café tables, live music, and adult beverages, including a specialty cocktail. In addition to reading from their work, our poets will take us beyond the words on the page to share poems by poets who have shaped their work, show us how life has shaped their vocations and how being a poet has shaped their lives, and engage the audience in conversations about the ways poetry intersects with other aspects of culture.

More than 50 people turned out for our first two Nightclubs, with Chen Chen and Erin Belieu. We’re expecting another great turnout in April, so get your tickets now!

Note: if you're under 21 or do not drink alcohol, you can purchase a discounted ticket here.
